  • Currently, working as Assistant Professor at the Department of English, KUST from 15 February 2018 to date

  • Worked as lecturer at the Department of English, KUST from 2007 to 14 February 2018

  • Worked as lecturer at the Department of English, Gomal University, DIK from 2004 to 2005.

  • Worked as an Excise and Taxation Inspector from 2005 to 2007

  • Worked as lecturer in Qurtuba University, DIK for six months

Second language acquisition, teacher education, psycholinguistics, stylistics, sociolinguistics,

Training  
 

During my PhD at the University of Exeter, UK, I attended a training program called ‘Language Teaching in Higher Education (two-stage)’. 

Membership  
 

I am a member of National Curriculum Revision Committee formed by HEC. One of the aims of this committee is to review and update the existing curricula of MS and PhD in the discipline of English.

I am a member of Board of Studies of Gomal University

I supervised one M.Phil student

 Distinctions & Awards   
 
  • First position in All Pakistan Quiz Competition and was awarded with a certificate and cash.
  • Second position in All Pakistan Competitive Exam and was awarded with Allama Iqbal Gold Medal.
  • First position in the whole education board in my FA exam and was awarded with gold medal.
  • First position in the whole university in my BA exam and was awarded with gold medal.
  • I won Nishane Haider scholarship.
