Chairman Message

Welcome to the Department of Physics. It was established in 2004. The Department started with BS and MSc programs in the beginning and attracted good number of students. Currently there are more than 240 students, studying in various disciplines like BS, MSc, MPhil and PhD. The Department has very strong, energetic and highly qualified faculty. They are trying their best in imparting knowledge, conducting research. They also play important role by giving guidance to the students and preparing them for future challenges. To strengthen its faculty the Department had sent some of its faculty members to technologically advanced countries for their Doctorate Degrees.

The Department has well equipped undergraduate and graduate Laboratories, where students are testing their theoretical ideas and improving their practical skills.

We warmly welcome prospective students who want to pursue their future in the field of Physics.
