M.Phil./Ph.D. Chemistry

Department of Chemistry also offer M.Phil./Ph.D. in chemistry. The M.Phil. programme can be completed in two years which consists of four semesters. A total number of 30 credit hours (24 Theory + 6 Research) is required to complete this degree. For Ph.D. degree additional 18 credit hours course work has to be completed. The minimum duration for getting Ph.D. degree is three years. Various courses offered at graduate levels in inorganic, organic, physical and biochemistry are listed below.
